We hired Ember as part of my wife's 60th birthday celebration and she absolutely loved it. Great fun was had travelling around the south downs over a sunny weekend. Would highly recommend to others. Much appreciation has to be to given to Hayley for arranging our hire at such short notice.

What a fantastic time we had with Coast! The perfect base for a weekend at Silverstone providing cosy accommodation and the facilities for plenty of tea and bacon sandwiches to see us through the 24hr race. Coast was a real talking point with other race goers thrilled to see a classic by the pit lane! Here’s hoping our next trip is more rural 😉 Thanks to Hayley and family for the efficient and thorough prep and hand-over of this beautiful home on wheels.

My husband, two children and I have just returned from a lovely weekend away in the New Forest in Ember who looked after us so very well. Hayley the owner was so very helpful, not only with showing us around the van but also with the small touches like the hot chocolate and biscuits on board, the games and also the really useful recommendations for places to visit with children. This was a surprise for my husbands 40th birthday and, despite the weather, we have left with memories that we will certainly look back on forever. Thank you Joyful Journeys!

Ember joined us for a long weekend in the New Forest. She is well equipped with everything we needed and was very comfy to sleep in. We had a lovely time with a baby and 3 year old although look forward to going just the 2 of us another time!

EMBER - great trip away to North Wales Llyn Peninsula to celebrate a special anniversary. Lots of nice touches like tea coffee milk orange juice and biscuits!. We had everything we needed and got lots of lovely compliments about Ember! The awning is easy to put up and provided extra storage space. Easy experience from beginning to end. Many thanks for letting us hold our booking over from last year! We may be tempted back!!

Had a lovely holiday in Ember in East Sussex. Fully equipped and stocked with all we would need so we didn't have to bring much ourselves at all. I loved the way everything had it's own place for storage & use which made the camper van feel quite spacious. Lots of admiring comments
on the campsite too. The brownies were a a fab personal touch, thank you joyful journeys.

A fantastic short holiday exploring the South Downs and using the Brit stops book to find overnight stays. A great way to see our great English countryside, castles, villages and history. Ember did us proud. We'll be back.

What an adventure we've had! Coast was the perfect companion for our trip down to Dorset - we had a super time taking in the beach at Studland, chain ferry across from Poole, Corfe Castle and up home through the New Forest. Thanks for a fabulous trip!

We have been 'girls on tour' - Grandma, Daughter & Granddaughter and complete novice campers with a steep learning curve. Ember has been very kind, comfy and a true friend & looked after us well. We had lots of admiration and 'flashes' along the way. It's been a real treat & been a lifelong ambition to travel in a camper. Ta Boris. Bimbling to Dorset with you for a sunny May bank holiday was a joy! So many waves & flashes from other "Dubbers", felt like being part of a secret society. Lots of admiring glances on the campsite and plenty of new friends. So long on see you soon.
We took Ember down to Dorset for a long weekend with two children (3 & 6) and had the best time! Ember is super comfy and so functional.

Sad to leave Ember after two weeks on the road - rambling around Wales and the Lake District, Northumberland and the Midlands. We enjoyed being warm and dry on rainy days and mobile on sunny ones. A fabulous vacation!

We took Boris to the Cotswolds - we've had a great time and loved sleeping in Boris at some great campsites! We've loved 'pootling' along enjoying the gorgeous weather.

We had a lovely adventure with Ember enjoying the many coasts and climbs of Cornwall. She looked right at home as we coasted all the way down to Lands End, getting many admiring glances along the way! A characterful home from home with a lot of soul! We look forward to travelling with her again.

Boris took us on a wonderful journey to West Wales. He behaved perfectly for all 600 miles and made a birthday treat so much more special. I’m so pleased I decided to hire Boris rather than stay in a hotel, will definitely do it again.

Many many thanks to Joyful Journeys. We had the pleasure of using Ember for a few hours at the weekend for the transport for the Bride & bridesmaids.
The whole experience from booking to returning the van was a pleasure, such an easy company to deal with. The van was in immaculate condition and even had flowers and ribbon ready for the wedding. This was a real showstopper as the guests were surprised and amazed on arrival of the bride with such a beautiful camper at the venue ready to start what was a great day ahead.
I would like to personally than Richard and his wife for the use of Ember and could not highly recommend them and the vehicles in the future.

Myself and my family had a wonderful experience with Joyful Journeys. Hayley and Richard were both so friendly and although we never needed to ring them - they were only at the other end of the phone to offer assistance should we need it. This was our first experience in a campervan and Coast was just perfect. I booked this as a surprise for my husbands 40th birthday and we, along with our two children (5&2) took Coast to our first family festival. It was amazing from start to finish, such a wonderful experience and one we will never forget. I 100% recommend Joyful Journeys, everyone should experience a VW Campervan holiday and they are such a lovely, family-run business to book with.

Thanks Boris - we have had a fantastic time. We have always wanted to stay in a campervan and this year our dreams came true. Edward (5) has enjoyed sleeping at the top and sitting round the campfire at night.We have had 2 nights at a quiet farm Malmesbury and have enjoyed going slow and loving a different pace of life. Our holiday exceeded all expectations - Ember offering all our home comforts in a VERY compact way- and the weather in February half term was stunning. My wife-to-be and I rented Coast last week for 4 nights. This was our first time renting a camper and we instantly fell in love with Coast. It's beautiful and fully stocked with everything you could need on a camping trip. We made it to Bude, Boscastle and even the Eden Project; must of done 800 miles over the 4 days. It took a while to get used to the stick shift as I've never driven one before, however, after a day I started to really enjoy driving it. The owners are very kind and helpful, and we couldn't believe they are right here in Wokingham. All in all, would really recommend. P.S Loved the camper van biscuits and thought the milk in the fridge was a really nice touch.

We had an amazing trip away. We went on a road trip with Ember for my 40th birthday, we left Berkshire going to Ambleside and Wasdale Head in the Lake District, then onto Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Loch Ness, Isle of Skye, Fort William, then finishing with a night in the Yorkshire Dales before heading back to Berkshire. We worked out we did about 1600 miles! Ember was absolutely brilliant, very comfortable with everything we could have needed for our travels. We felt very special traveling about with Ember, she attracted a lot of attention, everyone loved her :) Thank you Hayley for being fantastic throughout, we would highly recommend you and Ember and hope to book again soon.

We found the vehicle via a google search and booked Coast for our daughters festival themed wedding as transport for the bridesmaids. The communication and customer service via Hayley was outstanding from start to finish and made the whole process stress free for us. Coast was immaculately clean and tidy for the day, the additional ribbons and decoration looked amazing. The camper attracted many admirers on route to the church, the venue and looked fabulous in our photos with our guests. We would definitely recommend the company and wish them every success in the future.

Back from a wonderful weekend at Harrys Field in the New Forest. We loved our adventure in the van. Florence (3 1/2) and Rowan (1 1/2) first time camping and they loved it! We had very hot weather and it was lovely to wake up cool instead of roasting like our fellow campers. Thank you Joyful Journeys and Harrys Field for a wonderful weekend.

Me and my wife used Joyful Journeys for our honeymoon and were given the van Coast. They were really easy to book with and gave us a tutorial of the van before we drove off to Cornwall for 5 days. The van itself was great to drive once you get used to the long gear stick, and was actually really cheap to fill with petrol. We opted to go with the additional awning which provided great extra space and couldn't be any easier to erect as there are no poles involved. The bed was comfortable and was again really easy to make. We will definitely be using Joyful Journeys again and look forward to the next adventure with them!

We had a beautiful week in Dorset. Camped at Longthorne Farm an excellent spot for Lulworth Cove. Had coffee and cakes in the car park care of Ember. Lovely to be able to make a brew at any time. Moved over to Home Farm camp site near West Bexington Beach. The camper van is easy to pack up and move to the next stop.The tent/awning made for great storage for all our stuff and great sleeping arrangements for our daughter.The van is really well equipped. The plates and bowls of such good quality. I particularly liked the collapsible washing up bowl. Hayley has not skimped on any thing. Nice touch the biscuits. It was a pleasure to hire such a wonderful camper van.

What an adventure, we have had a fabulous holiday in the New Forest with our two little ones. Coast has been a pleasure to holiday in. Everything you could want and need to hand - even the retro biscuits. Who could have predicted the heatwave. Thank you Hayley for all your assistance, nothing to much trouble. We had a fantastic time, Ember is awesome everyone wanted to stop, chat and have a look at her. We felt the bees knees at the campsite with her. It was our first time camping as a family, it looked like we had all the gear and no idea at times. We would definitely recommend and book again!

We rented Ember for a day and a night in order celebrate my son's 16th birthday. He has been fascinated by VW campervans for many years and so this day made the perfect excuse me to drive him and a couple of close friends to the South Coast on what, I am sure, was the first real decent day of 2018. Ember was the star, she is beautifully equipped and fabulously well maintained. Hayley and Richard smoothed the path of the administration with courteous and timely communications. They were even so kind as to let us collect Ember the evening before, which meant my son and friends had two nights of slumber experience VW style. Thank You!

We have just rented Coast for a week and had a great time. We took a scenic drive to Hastings and onto Margate. Coast was fully equipped an Hayley even provided milk and cupcakes, which were very welcome with a cup of tea once we had pitched. From our initial enquiry to delivering Coast back to his home everything was very easy to sort out, nothing was too much trouble and Hayley was always very prompt at answering any questions we had. We would both recommend Joyful Journeys, thanks for the memories Coast.

We had such a lovely time in Ember, hopping around the Lake district & passing the Yorkshire Dales on our way home...What a lovely way to see the country :-) At first it took some getting used to being in such small proximity, but by the end we were swanning around each other as if it was 2 bedroom house! It's a lovely lifestyle. We had many a cosy night listening to to the pitter patter on the roof and some cosy mornings drinking tea in bed whilst looking out at the beautiful surroundings!Thankyou!

Coast was well named for our trip to Brighton. All the arrangements worked perfectly and the cake and milk were a nice touch. Coast was a pleasure to drive and provided us with a great base for our trip to the beach for Fish and Chips and a paddle. We will certainly hire again.

We booked Coast for a spontaneous road trip toWales to visit our family. Our children absolutely loved the experience and the trips to the beach for a paddle and ice creams. Goodbye Ember! We had a fantastic weekend in North Wales; in Snowdonia mountains and at the beach. You were our little mountain goat. No hill too high, no field too muddy. No traffic jam too long. It was a pleasure to wake up dry, bite free, warm and cosy. Ready for a hassle free cooked breakfast. Have you ever been to Dorset? We'll take you there next time.

Driving throughout Devon and Cornwall inside a classic camper van had always been one of my 'must do’s' with my children. They had no idea we were collecting a camper vanand when we turned up to collect Ember they were so excited !! It has been one of the best holidays yet ! Hayley thought of everything and we could not have asked for more. If you are considering a trip, I recommend Joyful Journeys !!
Having just spent a long weekend travelling both Devon and Cornwall wecan’t recommend Coast enough.The camper was super well equipped with all facilities provided to a very high standard. The ability to move freely between locations was a doddle with easy set-up between day and night configurations as well as being a pleasure to drive and eat up the miles. Coastwill be highly recommended to our friends and family. Hayley is brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. We are already looking into the calendar to take Coast out on our next adventure!
